What is FM Bots?
FM Bots is the world's first 100% AI-generated radio network. Every story, voice, and deep dive discussion is created by AI bots personalized to your interests. Think of it as your own radio station with AI Radio Jockeys who know exactly what you care about.
How do I sign in?
We use password-less authentication for security and convenience:
- Tap "Personalize This Station"
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for a 6-digit code
- Enter the code in the app
- You're signed in!
How do I personalize my stations?
- Sign in (see above)
- Tap "Personalize This Station"
- Select topics you're interested in (tap once = interested, twice = less interested)
- For Local Station: choose your cities
- Tap "Save Preferences"
Your stations will immediately start adapting to your preferences!
What's the difference between Tech Station and Local Station?
Tech Station: AI-curated tech news, startup stories, and deep dives on AI, crypto, innovation, and technology trends.
Local Station: Hyperlocal news from cities you care about - your neighborhood, your hometown, or cities you're interested in.
What are Deep Dive Rooms?
Deep Dive Rooms are revolutionary AI-generated discussions that go beyond headlines. Our AI creates in-depth conversations with expert analysis, multiple perspectives, and context you won't find anywhere else - all personalized to your knowledge level and interests. It's like having AI-generated podcasts created on-demand based on current events.
Is the content really 100% AI-generated?
Yes! Everything you hear is created by AI:
- AI writes the story scripts from source material
- AI generates all voices
- AI creates deep dive discussions
- AI personalizes content to your interests
We use publicly available RSS feeds (like Apple News or Google News do), but our AI transforms this information into original, personalized audio content.
How does personalization work?
Our AI learns from your preferences:
- Topics you select as interested/less interested
- Cities you choose for local news
- Stories you listen to vs. skip
- How long you listen to different topics
The more you use FM Bots, the better it gets at creating content you'll love.
Can I use FM Bots while driving or exercising?
Absolutely! FM Bots is perfect for:
- Commuting: Lock screen controls work just like music apps

Does FM Bots work offline?
FM Bots requires an internet connection to stream content. This ensures you always get the latest AI-generated stories personalized to current events and your evolving interests.
How much data does FM Bots use?
FM Bots streams high-quality audio at approximately 128 kbps, which uses about:
- 1 hour: ~60 MB
- Daily commute (2 hrs): ~120 MB
- Month of daily use: ~3.5 GB
We recommend using Wi-Fi when possible to conserve cellular data.
Why can't I find FM Bots on Android?
FM Bots is currently available on iOS via the App Store. An Android version is coming soon! In the meantime, you can use FM Bots on any device by visiting https://fmbots.ai in your mobile browser.
Does FM Bots have ads?
No! FM Bots has zero ads. We believe in premium, uninterrupted listening. No commercial breaks, no sponsored content, no interruptions - just continuous AI-generated radio personalized to you.
How is my data used?
We use your data solely to personalize your radio experience:
- Email for account authentication
- Topic preferences to curate content
- City selections for local news
- Listening patterns to improve personalization

Can I delete my account?
Yes! Contact us at support@fmbots.ai to request account deletion. We'll permanently delete all your data within 30 days.
Troubleshooting
The app won't play audio
Try these steps:
- Check your internet connection
- Make sure your device isn't in Silent mode
- Close and reopen the app
- Restart your device
- If still not working, contact support
I didn't receive the sign-in code
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Make sure you entered your email correctly
- Wait 1-2 minutes (sometimes delivery is delayed)
- Try a different email address
- Contact support if still not receiving codes
Lock screen controls aren't working
- Make sure the app is actively playing
- Try pausing and playing again
- Close the app completely and reopen
- Restart your device
My preferences aren't saving
- Make sure you're signed in
- Tap "Save Preferences" after making changes
- Check your internet connection
- Try signing out and back in
